Thanks to everyone who supported me for public school board trustee for Waterloo/Wilmot. I pledge to continue to work hard for students in Waterloo Region so they can continue to be “Inspired learners – Tomorrow’s leaders”.

Trustees, as advocates of public education, are there to make the best possible choices within the options available that will result in real, continuous improvements as well as preserving the many positive aspects of public education.

I will work to maintain a public education system that is clearly focused on its students. As a champion of public education, it has been my privilege to serve the communities of Waterloo and Wilmot for the last 11 years. I build relationships with all stakeholders for the betterment of the public education system as a whole. I believe in public education. I ask you to support me on October 27th.

My goals as trustee include…

Maintaining the focus on students by ensuring schools provide a safe learning environment.

Promoting engagement of students, teachers, parents, administrators and legislators.

Strengthening Board governance to ensure consolidated response to current and future challenges.

Working as a team member to keep the focus on student achievement and well-being.

As a leader, advocating on behalf of a strong public education system.
